Single-core Celeron two recruits: Hyper-threading, 10W ultra-low power consumption

Intel recently introduced two new Sandy Bridge-based Celeron processors. The "Celeron G460" appeared in the official price list. It was the first Celeron to support Hyper-Threading technology in history, and the "Celeron 807UE" was in ARK products. Listed in the database is the model with the lowest power consumption in the SNB family, only 10W.

SNB ushered in the first batch of Celeron model products at the beginning of September of this year. The bottom line is a single-core Celeron G440. However, today, multi-core has long been popularized, a core is inevitably difficult to justify, so the Celeron G460 has joined the Hyper-Threading Technology, at least logically, has two cores, and the three-level cache capacity has also been expanded from 1MB to 1.5MB, the clock speed has been increased to 1.8GHz, the thermal design power is still 35W, and the graphics core is 650-1000MHz HD Graphics.

What is even more gratifying is that the Celeron G460 still maintains a price of US$37, which makes it more cost-effective and suitable for entry-level users.

Celeron G460 has already started selling on the Akihabara market in Japan. The price is between 2980-3380 yen, which is about 245-280 yuan. However, the difference is that the front of the box is printed with a Pentium LOGO, and the specification list and chip The surface is still Celeron.

Celeron 807UE is a super-low pressure model for notebooks, but in order to control the thermal design power consumption at 10W, the specifications are quite "excessive": single-core single-threaded, clocked at 1.0GHz, three-level cache 1MB, integrated Graphics core HD Graphics, frequency 350-800MHz (without any advanced technology), memory dual channel 4GB DDR3-1333 (Atom D2000 series level), technology only supports Intel 64, VT-x.

The processor is packaged in FCBGA1023 31 x 24mm and the price is not disclosed.
