l) Remove dust and dirt from the parts, and carefully erase the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle and scrub the wiring surface of the grounding screw.

2) Apply a layer of industrial petroleum jelly to the rotating parts and contacts.

3) Check the contact surface and adjust the height of the compression spring so that the contact pressure meets Table 2.

4) This switch is only suitable for hoisting. As shown in Figure 2, it is generally used in conjunction with a transformer on the line.

5) Generally, only three mounting holes are used for the current rating of this switch at 200-400 amps. 600-1000 amps use three mounting holes.

6) Check the following parts of the switch regularly every year.

6.l Remove dust, especially conductive parts, contact surfaces and surfaces of insulating porcelain bottles.

6.2 Check the damage of each other parts, pay special attention to check the insulation porcelain bottle for loss and cracking.

6.3 Check that the contact surface of the conductive part is good.

9) If the switch is not used immediately, it should be checked regularly, and a layer of industrial petrolatum is applied to the contact surface and the rotating part.
