Summary:

The TinySwitch-PK multi-output power supply delivers 17.7 W of continuous output power and 29.7 W of peak power. Ideal applications include air conditioning and other applications that require peak power. Two electrically isolated 16 V outputs drive the IGBTs in the half-bridge topology. The 12 V output is used to drive the compressor evaporating fan, while the 5 V output is used to power the microprocessor. The 5 V and 12 V outputs are non-isolated from the AC input.

Electric Slip Ring
