Apple bans third parties to use iPad and iPhone promotions to provoke controversy

Apple has had enough of it and released a "Third Party Promotion Guide" at the end of the week. The guide expressly prohibits third parties from using iPads, iPhones, and iPhone Gift Cards during promotional events; iPod touch can only be used under special circumstances. Promotions, while the minimum purchase volume is 250 units; Myriad Set fonts should not be used in websites, products, packaging, user manuals, promotional/ad copy papers; use of the word “free” in any Apple product introduction is prohibited; all Apple marketing related marketing materials have to be submitted to Apple for review.

Apple said that at present, many businesses in the market are using the name of Apple to promote products under the name of freeware. They are embezzled by Apple’s brand for publicity. 'Free' dilutes Apple’s brand value, and Apple’s company decided to launch this “Guidebook”. Third-party behavior is regulated.

As early as January, Apple had issued a document to branches and distributors, instructing them not to hold free gifts of iPad, iPhone and other Apple products.
