University of Toronto researchers develop flexible OLED screens

[High-tech LED News] It is reported that in addition to Samsung, Canadian scientists have also produced flexible OLED screens. Researchers at the University of Toronto have successfully solved the shortcomings of flexible OLEDs based on plastic substrates.

Researchers point out that these plastic OLED production methods are as simple as roll-to-roll in the mass production phase. Both GM and DuPont have used this method to roll OLEDs for up to four years.

According to reports, the new plastic OLED not only has the same effect as the previous hard screen, but also cheap and hard. It takes 5-10 years for this technology to be introduced to the TV display, but it is likely to be used first on mobile devices. The first issue is how to use the results of the lab's one-inch screen for realistic large-screen production.
