According to the British car magazine July 5 news, 2018 Nissan Leaf electric car is scheduled to debut on September 6. The new car will be equipped with Propilot automatic parking technology.
With sonar and camera, the new LEAF allows parking in different locations and automatically handles throttle, brake and steering inputs. The parking assist system is part of the Propilot and features single-lane semi-automatic driving. This will make the wind become the most advanced autonomous driving model sold by Nissan.
In addition, the new car's cruising range is the highest among existing Nissan electric vehicles, reaching 340 miles (about 547.18 kilometers), 90 miles (about 144.84 kilometers) higher than the latest Renault Zoe. The wind may also become a leader in electric vehicles. The higher cruising range of the wind is thanks to Nissan's new battery pack. Like Tesla, the battery pack comes in a variety of sizes. The largest battery capacity is twice that of a current 30 kWh lithium-ion battery.
Nissan also released a map of the wind, showing the three-dimensional pyramid design of its grille. This feature also reflects the sharper design of the new style. The design comes from the Micra, with a clear body and a sharp nose.
The 2018 will be launched next year, which will lead Nissan to achieve 20% of its sales by 2020.
