Panasonic OLED TV FZ800/950 announced: support for HDR10+

Before the opening of CES 2018, Panasonic also announced that it will bring two new television products, the FZ800 and the FZ950.

Both TVs use OLED panels, which theoretically have higher brightness and darkness contrast and color accuracy than LCDs, and are the first to support HDR10+, which can finally compete with Dolby Vision.

As a flagship product, the FZ800 and FZ950 are said to bring Hollywood-based audio and video experiences back home.

In addition to retrofitting the new HCX graphics accelerator, the TV's panel tuning incorporates dynamic LUT (color lookup table) technology that can update up to 10 color coordinates per second. This is the black technology that only appeared in the TV demo video. The picture quality is amazing.

In terms of hearing, the legendary Technics guarantees high quality audio output.

It is reported that the FZ800 and FZ950 have 55-inch and 65-inch options, respectively, and will be available this spring. More detailed specifications and prices will be announced at CES.
