Oculus major revision! New VR interface Rift Core 2.0 to be launched in December

Oculus confirmed that it will launch a redesigned Rift Core 2.0 VR interface and corresponding desktop application in beta in December to make everyone feel at home. The new interface does not accidentally use the control of the Oculus Touch as the main axis, and adds a dashboard that can be accessed at any time. Although the minimum system requirement for Rift 2.0 is Windows 7 or later, the new dashboard is only available in the Windows 10 environment.

The new design for exclusive desktop apps will focus on enabling users to discover new VR content -- pages with Oculus news, storefront pages for easier viewing of wish lists, app libraries, and a list of friends on Oculus.

The actual launch schedule of the two products has not yet been implemented. After all, this is a major revision and will directly affect the future development of Oculus, so it really needs to be tested before launch. After many adjustments to the price, Oculus Rift reduced the threshold for high-end VR devices. In order to take care of later users, they must provide a better experience.
