Wu Changjiang, chairman of NVC Lighting (02222.HK), revealed to the “First Financial Daily†on March 13 that NVC Lighting is currently looking for core technologies in the LED field, with certain channels, or complementary to NVC Lighting. The domestic and foreign companies of the featured products are used to enrich the LED products of NVC Lighting.
Wu Changjiang said that the company started the technology development of LED products five years ago and set up a special LED project team at the Shanghai Light Source Electric R&D Center.
At present, NVC Lighting has 36 operation centers and nearly 3,000 brand stores in the country.
According to the company's announcement on March 10, the company expects to achieve a net profit of 70 million US dollars in 2010; in 2009 the company's net profit was 14.69 million US dollars.
