Intel Z68 chipset has been released for production in the first week of May

In addition to shipping the B3 stepping P67 and H67 chipsets, Intel also started production and shipment of new 6-series chipsets, including the H61 for the desktop multimedia market, the Q65 for the business sector, and high-end players and enthusiasts. The Z68, which is also B3 stepper, has no problem with the SATA 3Gbps interface.

Z68 chipset can better support Sandy Bridge processor overclocking, in particular, can freely adjust the FSB, but also supports dual-x8 CrossFire / SLI mode, the solid-state drive support is also more complete.

The Z68 is expected to be released in the first week of May, which is 2-6 days, which is about 8 dollars more expensive than the P67 chipset.

Interestingly, Intel has prepared two Z68 original motherboards, of which the DZ68BC is positioned high-end, while the DZ68DB is geared towards the multimedia field. It can provide DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, and other output interfaces with the processor integrated graphics, just like the H67 capable of overclocking.
