Dongjing Electronics' net profit for the first half of 2012 decreased by over 70% year-on-year

On August 22, Dongjing Electronics released the 2012 semi-annual report. During the reporting period, Dongjing Electronics achieved a total operating income of approximately RMB 130 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 17.04%; while the total profit was approximately RMB 3.56 million, representing a year-on-year decrease of 71.03%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was approximately RMB 3.21 million, representing a year-on-year decrease of 71.57%.

Dongjing Electronic Analysis believes that the decline in export product prices, rising raw materials and labor costs, exchange rate changes and other factors have affected the company's profitability. At the same time, its wholly-owned subsidiary LED sapphire substrate project is in the period of investment, and the consolidated statements affect the company's net profit.
